Commercial Roof Case Study - Haven of Rest

Washington Weather Shield completed a roof retrofit for Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor, WA upgrading their aging standing-seam metal roof without the cost or disruption of a full tear-off. As retrofit specialists, we install new roofing systems over existing metal by filling the flutes with EPS foam, creating a solid, insurable surface for modern insulation and membrane roofing. For this project, we installed EPS flute filler, added 2 inches of rigid insulation for improved energy performance, set a cover board, and finished with a durable GAF TPO roof membrane. New perimeter edge flashings, gutters, and downspouts completed the system, giving the facility a clean, watertight, long-lasting roof designed for decades of service.
