Commercial Roof Case Study - Legend Auto Sales

Washington Weather Shield completed a full roof tear-off and replacement for Legend Auto Sales in Puyallup, WA. The existing roof had five layers of old material with asbestos present in three of those layers. We coordinated directly with a certified asbestos abatement company to ensure safe, compliant removal—something we handle seamlessly for our clients, since many older commercial roofs contain asbestos and require specialized procedures to avoid serious health and environmental risks. After the roof deck was cleared, our team installed new rigid insulation, a tapered package for improved drainage, a cover board, and a durable GAF TPO roof system. We also replaced rotted fascia, installed new sheet-metal flashings, continuous gutters, downspouts, and a custom parapet wall metal cap. The result is a clean, long-lasting roofing system delivered with full safety oversight and minimal disruption to the client.
