Commercial Roof Case Study - Demgy Pacific

Washington Weather Shield completed a TPO roof overlay for Demgy Pacific, a precision manufacturer of high-performance plastics and composite components in Tacoma, Washington. The existing roof included 6 inches of rigid insulation and an aging torch-down membrane, making an overlay the most efficient, low-disruption solution. We installed Mirafi underlayment, mechanically fastened a new GAF TPO membrane, removed the torch-down on parapet walls, and installed new TPO up and over the walls, finishing with painted 24-gauge standing-seam parapet flashings for long-term weather protection. This project highlights a service we perform frequently—cost-effective TPO overlays that extend roof life, minimize tear-off expenses, and deliver reliable performance for property managers and owners seeking smart, streamlined upgrades.
